How to Book

 
  • While pre-booking is always appreciated, you’re more than welcome to arrive 5 minutes or so before class to sign in and join us for a session.
  • To book an in-studio class, simply reach out to us via WhatsApp or email our reception. 
  • When you arrive for class, please pay at the reception. 
  • We accept cash (in IDR), card payments, and bank transfer. 
  • If you prefer a contactless transaction or want to pay in USD, please contact us and we’ll be happy to provide you with an invoice.

When to Arrive?

To ensure a smooth start to your first class, we recommend arriving 5-15 minutes early.
If you have any conditions such as injuries or pregnancy, please kindly inform the teacher before class starts so they can offer modifications and adjustments to support you during the practice.

Can I eat

Avoid big meals at least 2 hours before class

What to bring?

We have a fully equipped studio and provide everything you need for your practice, so you don't need to bring any props.
However, if you prefer to use your own mat or props, you are more than welcome to bring them along.

What Level Am I?

foundational

This level is recommended to students that do not have any previous experience practicing or learning the Iyengar Yoga method.
Students will learn the basic actions in each asana to develop strength, flexibility, stability and confidence. It is recommended that you do a full series following the order of classes.
Each class of this level will build progressively on the previous.

Level1

these classes are appropriate for beginners and seasoned students wanting to focus on the fundamentals and is recommended to practice 2-3 times per week.
More in depth instructions on standing and seated poses, actions such as forward extensions, twisting, beginner back extensions and inverted postures will be included in this level.
You will systematically begin learning inversions such as Salamba Sarvangasana (Shoulder Stand). Restorative and pranayama are also introduced.
With practice you will build stamina and endurance that will be much needed in order to advance to level II.

Level 2

This selection of poses will build on the previous syllabus. Multiple actions within postures are added along with linking poses and increased hold times.

Level 3

This level is for seasoned Iyengar yoga practitioners. You should have a regular practice that includes head stand (Sarvangasana Sirsasana), shoulderstand and be able to lift up into Urdhva Dhanurasana (back bend).

All Levels/General

This is for all levels of students once the foundation level is learnt.
While practicing mixed level classes students with limited ability, pre-existing injuries or other conditions such sore knees/back/ankles, will learn to modify and adjust base on their own needs.

FAQ

For regular classes, booking is not required. But we recommend that you come to the class 5-10 mins before the class starts. For workshops and special events, booking is required to save your spot.

Yes. Please come to class early so that you can let the teacher know about your conditions.

We provide yoga mats and all props, and our team performs regular cleaning and disinfecting. However, we highly recommend that you bring your own towel and yoga mat if you have.

Yes, we have a shower for members in the studio. 

No, unfortunately we don’t have a day care service, and our team members cannot provide baby sitting services.

No, to respect other students and the quiet environment of the class, late entry is not allowed. 

In studio we offer: cash, credit/debit cards, bank transfers,Paypal

If you are paying online, we accept Master/Visa card, Paypal, and bank transfers.

All packages and passes are not extendable. However, if you have extenuated circumstances, or if you a last-minute travel plan, please contact our team and we can help you extend one time.

The prices for In-Studio and Online classes are different. Therefore packages for in-studio and online classes are not interchangeable. 

All packages and passes are for one person only. However, if you refer a friend or family member who end up purchasing a package as well, you both will be awarded free classes depending on the packages purchased. Yes of course, we will send an e-voucher with a beautiful cover on your behalf. Simply email us at hello@desayogi.com with the package you wish to gift, the recipient name and email address, and we will help you set it all up. 

15+may attend with a parent or guardian, 17+ may attend alone.
