Back Bending with Chair—Intermediate Iyengar Yoga

Shoulder Mobilization and Back Extension

In this intermediate class, we will explore a diverse range of yoga practices to create a well-rounded and balanced session. Starting with some jumping to warm up, followed by the mobilization of the arms and shoulders for-back extension. The practice will be paced and slow while invigorating. Enjoy your experience

We begin our journey with dynamic jumping exercises to elevate the heart rate and prepare the body, transitioning smoothly into targeted work focusing on arm and shoulder mobility exercises. These movements are designed to enhance back extension and create space in the upper body.

As we progress through the sequence, you’ll notice the thoughtful pacing – deliberately measured and unhurried, allowing for proper alignment and awareness- while maintaining an energizing flow that keeps you engaged and present.
