Standing Poses with A Chair

Part One (Beginner-Level)

In this class, we explore standing postures with the stable support of a chair. The chair allows us to enter each pose with a quiet mind, focusing on the alignment of body, breath, and mind while balancing.

We can hold poses longer, deepening our awareness of the sensory body.

Through this practice, we experience quietness and softness as we practice pratyahara—an inward withdrawal.
